2025 Kyrgyzstan Program
Overview
Welcome to our 2025 Kyrgyzstan cat skiing program. This will be an 11-day trip exploring the skiing in the Tien Shan mountains in western Kyrgyzstan. This is a private cat skiing trip with 6 days of cat skiing and one (second day is optional) day of resort and sidecountry skiing at Karakol resort.
We will be riding with an experienced local guide and we will have the cat all to ourselves. The mountains in the Jyrgalen area where we will be based, receives a lot of lake effect snow from the nearby Lake Issyk-Kul, the 7th largest saltwater lake in the world, so we should experience plenty of untouched quality powder.
We'll have a day of resort skiing at Karakol resort where they have amazing sidecountry terrain and you can enjoy an optional day of (more) resort skiing, horseback riding, exploring more tourist sites or even shooting at a gun range. There will also be a strong cultural component for this trip, with stops along the way on our drive to Karakol as we navigate around Lake Issyk-Kul, the highlight being the afternoon spent with the family of Golden Eagle hunters.
This is a very unique experience and an opportunity to visit a seldom visited area by Westerners, but one where they have great skiing, amazing culture, lovely food and friendly and curious local people. Come join us on an unforgettable journey this winter!
Dates
Session 1: 7th February – 17th February, 2025.
There is the potential to run another session from the 19th February - 1st March 2025.
Price
($USD, per person, based on how many people are in the group)
6 people: Single room - $5,650 Shared room - $5,400
7 people: Single room - $5,450 Shared room - $5,200
8 people: Single room - $5,250 Shared room - $5,000
Deposit
$250 initial deposit, due now.
$750 second deposit, due by August 1st, 2024.per person, strictly non-refundable.

By sending in your deposit, then you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you cancel your trip, then you would lose your deposit. Please purchase your travel insurance (mandatory) as soon as you have paid the deposit.
Final Balance
The final balance must be paid into our account, by the 30th of November, 2024.

Inclusions
- 11-day, 10 night, airport to airport trip with 7 or 8 days of skiing.
- 4 nights in the hotel in Karakol.
- 5 nights in a guesthouse in Jyrgalan.
- 1 night in a hotel in Bishkek.
- All breakfasts.
- Lunch and dinner on skiing days (just no lunch/dinner on arrival day and optional day Karakol).
- All domestic transfers.
- Local certified guide and 1 guide from TAP.
- 1 day ski pass Karakol.
- 6 days of cat skiing.
- Entrance to hot springs at Ak Suu.
- Eagle hunting including dinner.
- Transceiver, probe, shovel.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Fri 7th Feb - Arrival Bishkek and then all day transfer to Karakol. Stay at Hotel 78, Karakol.
Day 2 - Sat 8th Feb - Warm up with lift accessible sidecountry skiing in Karakol Stay at Hotel 78, Karakol.
Day 3 - Sun 9th Feb - Cat Ski Day 1. Stay at Baitor guesthouse, Jyrgalan.
Day 4 - Mon 10th Feb - Cat Ski Day 2. Stay at Baitor guesthouse, Jyrgalan.
Day 5 - Tue 11th Feb - Cat Ski Day 3. Stay at Baitor guesthouse, Jyrgalan.
Day 6 - Wed 12th Feb - Cat Ski Day 4. Stay at Baitor guesthouse, Jyrgalan.
Day 7 - Thu 13th Feb - Cat Ski Day 5. Stay at Baitor guesthouse, Jyrgalan.
Day 8 - Fri 14th Feb - Cat Ski day 6, hot springs Ak Suu and return to Karakol. Stay at Hotel 78, Karakol.
Day 9 - Sat 15th Feb - Optional day Karakol (horse riding, kayaking, ski resort). Stay at Hotel 78, Karakol.
Day 10 - Sun 16th Feb - Fairy Tale Canyon, Eagle Hunters and return to Bishkek. Stay at Olive Hotel, Bishkek.
Day 11 - Mon 17th Feb - Transfer to airport and return flights.
