The Adventure Project is proudly supported by....
We don’t want to take you to all the usual destinations around the world that have already been done to death; somebody else can take you there! We go to the places without the crowds, where you can still get great snow DAYS after a storm, not hours! You will be immersed in different cultures and meet many friendly locals. We hope you like our first destination, Gulmarg in the Indian Himalayas, a freeriders paradise. Gulmarg has the world’s second highest gondola and gets a ton of snow. You can get over 1300 vertical meters in one run and there’s hardly anyone else around to compete for freshies! We hope to expand our list of destinations as demand increases, but we’ll be looking at options in South America, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and even Turkey, Iran and Lebanon. There is so much good riding out there, you’d be surprised. Our aim is to take you there. Watch this space, we’ll keep you updated!
Welcome to the Adventure Project website!

Our aim is to take adventurous-minded skiers and snowboarders to exciting and exotic destinations around the world. We want to immerse you in new cultures, meet the locals and seek out the deepest powder.
We’ll take you to it and show you how to ski or ride it better! We take the hassle out of organizing your trip, if you’ve ever dreamed of going to somewhere new, somewhere you might not ordinarily go on the adventure of a lifetime, then we’ll make it easy for you.
We organize everything you will need at the destination: your accommodation; food; transfers; guiding and other fun stuff. We’ll take you around the mountain and work on your skiing and boarding and take you to the next level. You’ll work in a small group of similar level skiers/boarders with the same coach for 2 weeks, so you’ll have plenty of time to improve your skills.
Our team consists of highly qualified instructors and patrollers from around the world who are experienced backcountry operators and have a passion for making their clients better skiers and boarders. If you are a good skier or boarder (minimum upper-intermediate level), but have never been in the backcountry, we’ll show you how to do it.
We’ll teach you how to use a transceiver, shovel and probe and what to do in the event of an avalanche. We always follow avalanche safety protocols when traveling in potential avalanche terrain. If you are already experienced in the pow, we’ll take you to the deeper spots, take some video and do some analysis and make you even better.
You can purchase any of the gear that you need on these trips from our industry partners. We review all of the gear for you that we either use or recommend, so that if you need equipment for any of our trips, you can trust the gear that is shown on this site.
